Heritage Palms Golf & Country Club, Heritage Palms Golf & Country Club is a prominent, active, 800-acre golf community in Fort Myers. Home in this community were built from 1999 to 2006 by U.S. Homes. This community is great for people with many different budgets as homes range from low $100s to low $900s. There are 1,662 homes in the community, which include terrace condos, verandas, villas, single-family homes, and enclave homes.
The condos are in condo buildings that are four stories high. Condos range from 1,194 square feet to 1,544 square feet with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and one assigned, covered parking spot. There are 660 condos in the community. The veranda homes range from 1,333 to 1,661 square feet and most have two bedrooms, a den, two bathrooms, and a single-car garage. The villas are 1,533 to 1,865 square feet with two to three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and two-car garages. The single-family homes range from 1,999 square feet to 3,307 square feet with three to five bedrooms, a den, two to three bathrooms, and a two-car garage. The 69 custom-built enclave homes are the most luxurious homes in the community. These homes range range from 2,794 to 4,273 square feet with three to four bedrooms with a den, two to three-and-a-half bathrooms, and a three to four-car garage.

Heritage Palms is a well-known active golf community. All levels of golfers play on the two 18-hole championship golf courses; there are practice facilities that include an aqua driving range and a chipping and putting green. The golf course is 13,000 yards of greens. Along with golf, tennis is popular in this community, as well. Heritage Palms is home to eight, lighted Har-Tru tennis courts and a pro shop.
The community’s clubhouse is 28,400 square feet and recently renovated; it overlooks a lake and is home to social events, fitness classes, clubs, formal and informal dining, a library, locker rooms, a heated outdoor swimming pool, spa, and cabana. The Lodge, a members-only facility, is a 5,000-square-foot clubhouse that features a grand hall, billiards, room, card room, library, and computer room. The Tiki Bar & Grill is in the community and serves as a great place to meet up with people to eat and drink; it’s right next to a resort-style pool that has a waterfall and spa.

Heritage Palms is an ideal Fort Myers retirement community, west of I-75 off of Six Mike Cypress. The community is nearby many shopping plazas, museums, educational centers, tours, and restaurants. Nearby, the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve is a beautiful cypress swamp area full of trails that Heritage Palms residents can explore.
